“ A hidden gem off of route 10 that you would not expect! The location is kind of hidden unless you are really paying attention/looking for it but I’m so glad I stumbled upon Mama’s Pizzeria! My husband and I moved to Netcong a year and a half ago and just discovered Mama’s a week ago. I actually found out about it as I was googling “pizza places near me” as I waited to get my tires rotated at Route 10 tire Someone else had written a review for Mama’s that showed a photo of the “Brooklyn MVP” pie that has marinara , vodka sauce , and drizzles of pesto that I was sold on immediately just from seeing the photo - I called and placed an order for pick up and was not disappointed. It was an all around AMAZING pie. Al the owner is just as great as the pizza - super friendly and knows how to make an awesome pie (being as he’s from Brooklyn!) he also loves dogs & anyone who loves dogs is A-okay in my book! I told my husband about Mama’s and he picked up some pies last night as we had friends over. This time we opted to try “the Capone” which has vodka sauce, breaded chicken cutlet, and basil on top . 10/10! If you’re looking for a new pizza place to try look no further- Mama’s is it! Update: Tried “the Bugsy” square pie for the first time & it’s out of this world what a combo - eggplant, peppers & crumbled sausage ooof 6/2025: tried the eggplant rollatini pie with half pepperoni... was once again blown away ”
“ Got an upside down Sicilian and it was soo delicious! As someone that grew up in Brooklyn, the upside down pie really hit the spot and rivals L&B spumoni’s. The garlic knots had a good amount of perfectly toasted garlic bits and were great with the marinara sauce. We also had a slice of pepperoni from the counter heated up and the crust was amazingly crisp. Al (the owner?) was just genuinely nice and even bought my order to my car. So happy Mama’s is in town- this is going to my family’s go-to pizza spot! ”
“ This pizzeria is easily one of the best I’ve ever had. If I opened a pizza shop, this is exactly what I’d want it to be - great atmosphere, classic oldies tunes, and a perfect pizza display. The thick crust was flawlessly executed, crispy outside, light inside, which is no easy feat. With so many tempting varieties, including thin crust, I wish I had time to try them all! Beyond the food, the staff’s warmth and attentiveness made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you. ”

“ Sicilian is amazing, one of the top 3 I've ever had. My girlfriend had a grilled chicken salad. The chicken was perfect; good seasoning and very moist. To paraphrase Freddie Mercury, get in your car and drive here now and get a Sicilian pie. You won't be disappointed. ”
“ Went here for the first time based on reviews. Ordered a large pie to try. As we were waiting, Al gave us a few garlic knots to try. They were really good. Not too light, not too dense and just the right amount of seasoning. The sauce he gave us was regular marinara and vodka. And while the sauce could use a little extra pinch of salt, both were very good. Our pizza was half plain, 1/4 jalapeno and 1/4 pepperoni. We asked it to be cooked a little crispy and the cook was exactly how we like it. The pizza was great. All the right proportions of crust, sauce and cheese. We both agreed that Mama's was now in our top 3 of local pizzerias. Al was beyond welcoming and friendly and the food was good. Next time we're trying a square pie so we'll definitely be back! ”

Brooklyn MVP pie is so awesome with 3 sauces ( Marinara , Vodka , Pesto) thick fluffy crust and crispy on the bottom. Everything was on point too. Friendly people , good service. Not much room to sit , looks like most traffic was takeout. ”
